Making a list and checking it twice...

By July 22, 2013

Follow me on:

No, I'm not one of those Christmas in July folks who simply cannot wait another six months to be festive with their Christmas trees and holiday wreaths. The list I'm working on is not a wish list or shopping list for the holidays. full moon

Tonight is the full moon!

I am preparing for tonight's moonshine. The list I'm making today is for a full moon purging ritual

Preparing My Purging List

So far my personal purging list for this month's moon ritual has only a couple of items on it, but I'm certain I'll be adding one more thing to the list before nightfall. I'm superstitious. I know it is silly but I think that good things (also troubles) tend to come in threes. I haven't always had such a short list when I prepare for a full moon ritual. The full moon is the perfect time when I can begin the process of letting go of whatever is bothering me. Admittedly, I've dealt with some big fat juicy issues in the past, . Hasn't everyone? If you are being burdened with hurtful emotional abscesses that are overdue to be popped and drained, you should try my full moon purging ritual.

Nope, I'm not going to share what the items on my list are. It's PERSONAL! Get it? Besides I don't want to give them more power by saying them out loud or publicizing them in anyway. The point is, I'm going to burn these words, turning them to smoke and release them under the light of the moon and send them away to the PURGING place for cleansing.

A full moon ritual is for releasing or purging those things in our lives that no longer serve us. Full Moon is an opportune time of the month for purging rituals to take place. The light from a full moon illuminates those things that are interfering with our spiritual advancements.

A full moon ritual doesn't have to take more than a few minutes and doesn't really take a lot of preparation. Check out my simple instructions for doing your own full moon ritual. You can do it solo or invite your friends over for an elaborate purging party. Have some fun, it doesn't have to be so serious. Where better to "lighten" up but under the light of the moon? Howling at the moonshine can feel quite intoxicating. Try it tonight or at the next full moon. I think you will find the process emotionally freeing.

Thank you for sharing your approach with us. I have a similar one but I always love hearing about how others honor their personal growth and releasing. Much love to you and gratitude for your wisdom.

This sounds like a simple way to focus on personal growth once a month. I’ll have to remember it and come up with my list.
