Agoraphobic Woman Receives Message from a Robin

By February 7, 2013

Follow me on:

A frequent visit from a robin to an agoraphobic woman named Lisa has her wondering if perhaps the angels sent the bird to her. She asks Eileen Smith, one of our Ask An Intuitive columnists "Could it be the angels used that method to let me know I wasn't on my own? Why a robin? "read Lisa's full question and Eileen's thoughtful response

When I was in grade school I was taught that robins were migratory birds, flying south for the winter to escape cold weather. I later learned that this was not exactly true. They will sometimes migrate to warmer climates but not because of the temperature. These birds can survive colder weather as long as food is available to them. Robins are nomadic creatures moving to different locations, near or far, to find suitable food sources. Robins' dietary habits change in the winter to eating fruit and seeds from trees and bushes. In the warmer season they eat bugs and earthworms that are easily harvested from the ground making them more visible to us.

Meet Our In House Intuitives

Though I am not of an air sign or have many in my chart, I have been receiving messages from birds over the last three years. In my most difficult times, hawks have come to give me messages of strength and direction. Crows have come to alert me with changes in my life and remind me of my potential. Pigeons have been important to me as well. When my father-in-law was alive, he fed these birds. He was a wonderful man who loved people, animals and life. When they appear at my home, I know that he is visiting to check up on us. I always sent my love to him when a pigeon stops by.

Thank you so much for your comment and telling our readers how our feathers brothers and sisters guide and whisper Divine messages to you.

While people who have a lot of “air signs” in their chart tend to have an affinity for birds and they for them, many who don’t still resonate with birds. I think people who are mercurial tend to have them too, but the winged ones are for all. Thank you for commenting.

Dear Eileen,

I’m sure the angels were talking through you. The past few days were getting very trying for me and I was losing the faith and decided that perhaps angels were not real for me or in my life. I received an email letting me know my question was answered by you after I gave up on believing in them. There were so many words of truth here and things I have worried about. I didn’t mention it in the question at all but the messages you delivered were what I needed to read. This has been very helpful.

To date the same robin came by again even closer to the house and than I saw it brought along another robin friend which I have never seen before.

I also saw this Robin again today by itself out the window after a rough day and began to talk to it through my thoughts. It walked closer and closer as though it were listening than flew away.

It also makes a lot of sense when you mentioned about the air signs receiving birds as their messengers..because I am an Aquarius and never knew this tidbit before. I have also experience crow many times in my life as well.

I want to thank you again for answering my question.

The Robin saga continues..

With love, Lisa

You are so very welcome, Lisa. Robins are very special to me. I have raised injured robins and they are just so amazing. I love them very much and so your question was dear to me.
