I’ve never heard of this type of tea, but the benefits are enticing.
I’ve had one of these growing at my house before and in the homes of several friends from whom we go the start. I never could bring my self to try it although my husband had it several times.
I prefer tea over coffee. In fact, I’m indulging in lemon tea right now. But I have never heard of this kind of tea. Very interesting.
Kombucha tea is all the rage among college students where I live. I wonder what it tastes like?
I have a culture that I’ve never used (wonder if there’s a use-by date). I am intrigued that it firms thighs and reduces cellulite, lol….is that for real? Thanks for the reminder, now where is that bundle….
Ya know Molly, that whole firming thigh thing was probably a sales pitch that doesn’t hold water, lol – I drank kombucha almost daily for a long time. It’s kinda tasty actually. Then I stored my last scoby in the fridge for almost a year. I ended up throwing it out because I wasn’t sure if it would still be good. What I should have done is made a new batch with it…. then dump that batch out saving the the new baby culture to make a batch for drinking. One of these days I will get my hands on a new scoby to start up again.
