Love this image! Being in touch with one’s inner child is, I believe, one of the keys to happiness. Having grandchildren helps me in this area. Since they are grandchildren rather than children, I don’t have a lot of onerous responsibilities and can concentrate on enjoying the simple wonders of the world with them.

Having just become a mom, I’m learning to play and act like a kid all over again. I’m also getting to see the world through children’s eyes again. And, as long as you don’t go overboard, I think there’s something very therapeutic and comforting about connecting with your inner child.

We all need to stay in touch with our inner child – children see things so very clearly, especially very important things.
