Reader Question: My father passed away last November after a long battle with cancer, and my mother has recently also been diagnosed with cancer. In light of the above, this will sound stupid, but my dog also died of cancer in November 2009. I feel like my whole world has turned dark and that nothing can ever feel good again. I feel I am surrounded by such negativity, but I want to come out of this darkness and want to ask the Angels for help.
I feel sorry for myself because of this, which is so wrong. I have so much to be grateful for, but there are such difficulties in my life at the moment (in my work life too). If I ask for their help and guidance, will they be there for me.... I am lost. Thank you. ~Carol
Eileen's Response: Dear Carol,
I am so sorry for the losses you have experienced. One of the hardest things we have to go through on our earthly sojourn is the loss of loved ones. Grief has a way of pulling us into a dark, negative place and can make us more vulnerable to the day-to-day stresses of life.
The angel to call upon to help you with these challenges is the beloved and mighty Archangel Michael.
Michael is referred to as the greatest of all angels in writings by people on Earth. His task is to assist every living thing on the planet with remembering the love and power of the creator within our souls. In doing so, he helps us transcend the illusion of separateness we have by showing us that we are connected to each other and to the Divine.
It is said his task also includes bringing any fallen angel back to the Light of the Creator. Michael tells me we are all angels who feel we have fallen and forgotten who we were and are in need of reconnecting to the love and knowing of the Divine. We are all co creators and carry Divinity. Our task is to ascend and he is here to help us do that by peeling away the false doctrines and dogma that separate us from the Truth of who we are and what life was meant to be for every being. The goal is for both us and the planet to return to our perfect state.
Michael appears to me as a strongly built, light-haired male with an angular but beautiful face. People laugh when I say that I think he is the epitome of the star quarterback on a winning football team - not only in his physique but also in the mental skills and coordination that he carries.
Michael is one of the Masters of the healing Light rays. He carries the energy of the "Blue Ray" of Divine Truth, Divine Will and implementing Divine Will within our daily lives and within the bigger picture of our world. Michael protects our planet and assists people and organizations that protect her too. He is readily available to assist those who dedicate their lives in protecting humans, animals and the environment. This includes branches of service, firemen, policemen, medical and emergency workers, environmentalists, animal welfare people and wildlife activists.
Believe it or not, Michael also helps with technical difficulties. He has helped me more than once find a missing file in my computer. He has also helped me get home safely in a blizzard. His presence in my life has been real and profound, and he can be there for all of you too.
Michael's biggest message to all of you is that when one person has healed to the degree that they are conscious and clear then they can heal others. This is what will save our planet. A conscious person makes better choices and is of service. That is the only way our world will change. It begins with each one of us becoming clear in our own lives and "waking up."
Michael's energy is very strong and protective but it is not aggressive. He is full of compassion for the realities we face here and our struggles with those realities. While we may see ourselves as failing he is always compassionate, non-judgmental and willing to help us back up and give us the courage to try again.
He works very closely with Mother Mary when her task concerns shining a light into our darkness. He also has what he tells me is his "Band of Mercy" - a group of angel forces that seek out lost souls and carry them to the Light. He tells me eventually all wandering souls, including ghosts, are rescued by them. He tells me that when people pray for souls or ask they be assisted it creates a very powerful healing beacon for his Band of Mercy. He says prayer for others and for the planet is more powerful than people realize. Isn't that a comfort?
Michael also carries a symbolic energy sword that is bluish-white with flames of red. It is an energy tool that he created to allow us to connect with his ability to cut through negativity and remove it. He tells me it isn't a real sword but only a symbol - for some reason it helps us to think of a sword. The "sword" also cuts negative cords that may be weighing us down and not allowing us to move forward. He reminds us that only cords that are of a low vibration, never cords of love, are cut. All you need to do is call upon him and ask him to cut these negative and low vibration cords. However, Michael reminds us that if we are not clearing ourselves of the emotions and patterns behind the negative cord, not examining our part in it being there, then it will be reengaged again. He tells me many times people will call upon him only to reattach the cord moments later. This is because they are not ready to let go of the person or the event due to unhealed anger, sorrow, guilt, longing or addictive energy pattern.
To cut inappropriate or negative cords have a sense of Michael cutting with his flaming sword, all cords that are unhealthy. Down the front of your body, the back, and all chakras.

For example, I got the message that Michael wanted to be in the column this week but I thought, "How about someone else instead?" Then a painting of Michael came down from my desk and landed on my keyboard. And I said "I got it, Michael! We will broadcast your message this month!"
Angels can be obvious and they can be subtle but it's up to us to keep an eye out for how the help is being sent.
