Free Advice from Intuitive Life Coach, Anandra George
Dear Anandra, Robert
I cannot afford life coaching or healing work. I would love to experience all of the nice things I've heard friends talk about from their experiences with people like you, but I just cannot justify the expense when there is so much free self-help advice out there.
Dear Robert,
The truth is, the spark of inspiration is within you. It's free - eternally - and that energy itself will reveal the perfect course to you, by literally "lighting up" each next step of your life. However, most people look for a reflection of their inner truth outside of themselves, so the oxymoron of the self-help industry comes into play. (I.e., "If it's self-help, then why do I need your advice?")
It is a perfect question, and leads us directly to the answer. It's not self-help, but Self-help that is effective. The Self (meaning the truth of who you are, as a soul, infinitely eternally truth-consciousness-bliss) is the source of everything. If you are on the verge of realizing this, read no further, and keep looking within for what has never been lost.
If you fumble, forget, become depressed, or are plagued with belief systems such as "I don't deserve to be happy," then you might derive great relief from having someone remind you who you are, immeasurably beyond whatever monetary contribution you offer to honor your helper's time and focus on you.
Let's just explore an idea for a second... Money is currency that represents value. We invest in what is important to us. Aside from the obvious needs for food, shelter, and clothing, what else is it that we value? If you buy nice clothes, you're valuing beauty. If you go to movies, you're valuing fun, learning, or excitement. If you donate to charity, you're valuing their work. If you pay for periodic or regular support with your spiritual and life goals, you're valuing your happiness.
The end goal of all quests, whether material or spiritual, is happiness. Working hard to save money to retire? Projected end result = happiness. Meditating for hours on end? Projected end result = happiness? Dating and trying to find "Mr./Ms. Right?" Projected end result = happiness.
To invest in yourself in the form of targeted, one-on-one coaching could quite possibly be a brilliant shortcut. A good coach who integrates the material and spiritual can help you streamline your efforts, clarify your strategies, cut loose old baggage from outdated belief systems, support you to energize your unique superpowers, and if they also have the willingness to see deeply into the soul, reflect your True Self back to you.
I would LOVE IT if everyone reading this had the sense of, "Ahhhhhh, yes! Life is full, and getting even more so every day! I am exactly where I need to be, inside my mind and heart, and in my day-to-day life. My contribution to the world is ever maturing, expanding, and refining! To paint a picture of happiness, all I have to do is open my eyes!"
I would be HAPPY if there were zero demand for life coaching or healing work of any kind, and we could all just sing and dance into creation our most beautiful heart's desires! In the meantime, I have the worst kind of job security.
There are so many people who are unaware of their true nature, and therefore suffer greatly. There is so much yearning for peace and happiness, yet such tragically unsuccessful attempts at fulfillment. Until that day, there are many of us who will keep shining and making the humble offering of our service to the inner light of those who have forgotten.
May the spark of truth reveal itself within you. It will probably shine through many forms of assistance throughout your life; I encourage you to enjoy and appreciate them all.
Blessings,
Anandra

Beautifully said! I would add that the concept of ‘we don’t know what we don’t know’ is important to consider too. On my personal path, I’ve learned a tremendous amount about the relationship of food and spirituality. The cleaner and healthier my diet, I’ve discovered that the cleaner and healthier my spiritual connection and understanding becomes.
I needed the help of an amazing health coach to get to this point. I needed the guidance to point me in the direction of learning what I didn’t know so that I could discover for myself what I didn’t know and then learn more to continue my own personal growth.
I loved the experience so much that I decided to become a health coach myself – moving more fully into my purpose and being in service to the world in ways I never imagined possible.
Self help are great for those who have the inclination to read and discover themselves on their own, of course this information is there it just needs clarifying. But from experience, those who have lost their way often find it impossible to focus for long enough to read self help books. Those who are lost also find it difficult to get the courage to find a therapist etc. For these people guidance from another person can be beneficial for interaction and encouragment. Connecting with another soul can lead to greater understanding of ones self too.
Just wanted to comment about how invaluable I have found my own life coach. I consider myself a fairly competent woman, but I found that I would keep coming up against walls, that I either didn’t know how to climb or had lost the will to climb.
My life coach has always been very helpful at helping me get past these sticking points and to help me remember what the bigger picture is – I always come away feeling encouraged, fired up and ready to move forward.
Yes, it’s a cost, but what’s the cost of getting stuck in a rut, as I was?
