Free Advice from Angel Intuitive, Eileen Smith
Hi Eileen,
Can you see if I and my dog Brody have angels around us (I guess you think we all do, I have tried to talk to my angels with no luck) can you give me their names and how? We both have health and other issues.
Love Sharon and Brody
Dear Sharon,
It's true that angels are always around, whether we can feel them or not. Your angels and Brody's angels want you to know that they are always there. And Brody's angels want you to know that animals do have angels too. For you, please read the archives in this column as I previously wrote about the different ways we each receive love and guidance from our angels, including the receiving of names.
Your angels say you only have to ask and talk to them like you would anyone else. Also, they want you to know that they understand what is in our hearts without having to use special words. They know you, all of you. But do call on them more often. They tell me that monitoring negative thoughts that occur, learning to interrupt them and change negative thoughts into a positive is very important. Try not to identify with illness, as physical illness does not diminish the shining light of our souls. They say illness should not define a person and do not label yourself with it, even though illness is something we are challenged with as humans living on Earth at this time. The word "challenge" instead of "victim" is key here. Your angels also want you to know they love you very much and are proud of all the things you have been doing to create a better life and encourage you to keep learning new things.
As for Brody I can see 3 angels around him. They tell me he helps filter the negative issues you deal with on a daily basis. They feel energy work for both of you would be helpful and you can do it yourself if funds are an issue. They want me to stress that there are many free healing instructions and information available on the Internet for both you and Brody.
My angel Alonya tells me that animals can be like certain plants that filter the air in our home. They can "filter" or take on a lot if the animal's family is going through challenging times. It is difficult but also important to keep centered in these challenging times, especially for people who tend to have constant worry going through their minds like a looping tape. It is also important to monitor how we keep in balance and do whatever we can to limit negative thoughts and emotions that just won't seem to stop, especially for people with chronic conditions or long term stress. Alonya says there are so many free things available such as walks, meditation, library books and Internet resources. We only have to decide we want to be in a more positive place and then take a small action to start changing our perceptions.

Thank you for this informative, insightful and very helpful article. I always enjoy reading your work. You are remarkable!
Eileen, this is wonderful. And thank you and Alonya both for the guidance and information!
Your so welcome! Thank you so much for your comments. I am so glad you found this helpful. Isn’t it amazing how we learn about ourselves through another person’s question?
Interesting. All my life, I’ve been instinctively conscious of not wanting to ‘own’ an illness.
I ‘get’ asthma…I’m not asthmatic and I don’t ‘have’ asthma
I get some arthritis but I’m not arthritic and I don’t ‘have’ arthritis.
I get Crohns and IBS and fibromyalgia, but I don’t ‘own’ them either. They do not define who I am.
There are actually many chronic hereditary ailments that I get from time to time, but I don’t claim them as part of me….and I don’t say I ’suffer from’ any of them.
Maybe that’s why people say I have a good attitude and I consider myself healthy in spite of these little challenges.
Wonderful insight Eileen and great advice. Thank you.
Eileen, What wonderful insight! I really resonate with the idea that animals are like filters… processing a lot of we have going on in our lives to help us. Thank you for a beautiful article!
Eileen- You always provide such great information. Thank you for the reminder to call on our angels more often.
Thank you all so much for your insightful comments. I think this is one of the frequent ways we can get in our own way.
In Light,
Eileen
