Haunted Houses

House Hauntings

This photo was sent to me by a reader this past week. Bridget says that she has lots of spirits in her home and wanted to share a picture of one of the ghosts in her house with me and all my readers. She says "You have to look at the picture for a while and you will see the sprit right on the ceiling." Well, I did look for a bit and MAYBE I can see something resembling a face, but it is not all that clear to me. I'm posting it to get comments for Bridget. Can you see her friendly visitor??? What does it look like to you? Also, do you have ghost spirits in your home? Or, have you been able to capture a ghost or spirit on film?

One thing I’ve learned in my life is not to dispute the experiences of others. I hope Bridget’s ghosts are friendly ones!

I agree – if Bridget sees spirits in her home, she does. I can’t see any in this photo, but that certainly doesn’t mean they aren’t there.

Funny thing is that I believe in ghosts and I can’t say that I see one in the photo, whereas my husband, who does not believe in ghosts, says he definitely sees the body of a spirit in this photo. He says it is a trick to the eye but he does see one.

I do see something, I tried to expand the picture but it doesn’t. I agree with Susan, never dispute others experiences. I’ve had some myself, that most people would think was my imagination. There is a picture on my blog, it’s under June Posts in case you delete this link. Taken a couple of months after bringing a fearful stray home. http://5-dog-blog.blogspot.com/2009/06/dog-angel-dog-spirit-or-dog-ghost-you.html

Some of my Facebook Fans are commenting on this ghost photo.

Toni and Brenda both think the ghost looks like an alien.

Therese says “I see a man dressed in a suit maybe around late 1800 or early 1900’s at his left there’s a woman with a hat and at his right there’s someone else’s arm holding a lit candle.”

Rosemary says “I don’t want to upset anyone and my apologies to your reader, Bridget. I don’t see anything in that photo except the light from the lamp reflecting on a plaster ceiling. Of course that doesn’t mean I don’t believe the woman has spirits in her home. I just don’t think that is a photo of them. I am the founder of West Florida Ghost Researchers and have been helping people learn to co-exist with hauntings and, on occasion, helping the spirits cross over. So I am definitely a believer. People send me photos all the time and usually there isn’t really anything there. Remember, people tend to see human features in everything. It’s in our nature. It’s called matrixing.”

I see something vague. It’s possible we have had ‘visitors’ from time to time come and share worship with us early mornings. Although if so either unseen or completely life like so you wouldn’t know them from anyone else.

I was a complete skeptic about ghosts until I encountered one in the hallway of my Mom’s house. It looked a lot like the one I see in the photo. I don’t care if people think I am crazy, I do believe in ghosts, I do!

(8) Suzanne says:

Once the idea was planted in my mind that there was something there, I could definitely see it, but I wouldn’t have noticed it otherwise.

Hi, I not only see the ceiling, there is a vague outline of what appears to be a little girl in the corner, right where the light is shining..I have heard if you ask the spirits to let you capture them on film, some will-

I see what appears to the the shadow of a woman wearing a Victorian hat with a big plume feather. It’s sort of like making cloud pictures though. If you look hard enough, you can find almost anything.

But I agree that it’s unwise to discount claims of ghosts or spirits.

(11) Sandi Bush says:

I don’t see anything on the ceiling but do see something in the corner by the hutch or whatever it is. I immediately picked up teenage boy. I’m probably wrong but was what popped up in my mind.

(12) Brandon Swaney says:

Well, i dont see anything; but maybe. The thing about discussing supernatural topics is that they need to be explained under the right context. There is a spiritual battle that humans face being the darkside verses the light. Eph 6:12. These spiritual battles would be demons verses angels that are fighting on behalf of Satan and God. These hountings, if this lady speaks true, are not friendly experences. The devil is out for souls with attempts to distort truth and confuse those that they are focused on. This lady most likely is playing with some sort of witchcraft inviting darkness in her life. She needs to cleanse her self of sin and call on Jesus as her only salvation and light giver-John 3:16.
