Lots of motion and geometry in this image. Very calming.

The scroll pattern in the sand is very intriguing. Hard to tell if it’s a pendulum or someone writing with a pen. It’s so perfectly concentric.

Pendulums are fascinating. Our local museum has a perpetual motion pendulum–not really perpetual motion, of course–and it always draws a crowd. As for me, I can never see one without thinking of the classic Edgar Allan Poe story. So much for positive thoughts!
