Lots of motion and geometry in this image. Very calming.
The scroll pattern in the sand is very intriguing. Hard to tell if it’s a pendulum or someone writing with a pen. It’s so perfectly concentric.
Pendulums are fascinating. Our local museum has a perpetual motion pendulum–not really perpetual motion, of course–and it always draws a crowd. As for me, I can never see one without thinking of the classic Edgar Allan Poe story. So much for positive thoughts!
I’d prefer not to think of that Poe story…
Very interesting articles on dowsing and pendulums! And the photo is beautiful!
What a lovely photo. Watching a pendulum is very soothing.
