Why We Hurt

Monday March 23, 2009
No one likes to experience pain. But pain is the body's universal language. When we hurt our bodies are signaling to us that something is wrong. If everything was in balance you would feel no pain. Pain is telling you that something is amiss and that you need to listen to what your body is trying to tell you.

Your attitudes about pain can help or hinder the healing process. Illness can sometimes be the result of something bigger than the human mind can comprehend. Pain can teach us important life lessons. Finding a cure for our ailments is not always easy, we can be met with many hurdles to wellness.

Pain can bring about opportunities as well as challenges. I truly believe that healing is a valuable lifetime journey. Your body is the only vehicle you have been given for this ride called "Life." Taking good care of your body will ensure a longer, happier ride.
