Healing Green Gemstones and more...

Tuesday March 10, 2009
The original blarney stone from Ireland is actually blue in color. But, today GREEN is the customary color used in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. not blue. Let's skip the blarney and learn about the spiritual and healing properties of some true green colored stones: emerald, green fluorite, jade, and malachite. Green is strongly associated with healing in the holistic health community.

Wishing you the luck of the Irish!

Wearing Green Don't forget to wear something green on St. Paddy's Day next Monday, or you'll likely be the target for a pinch or two from meanies. Whenever I wear green I feel more in-tune with nature. The color green reminds me of my tomboy years with grass stains on my knees. It represents the Spring season and new growth.

Green Tea The Irish are known for preferring a frosted mug of green beer associated with St. Paddy celebrations, but green tea is typically more my style. Green tea is a simple and ancient beverage has been researched and proven to have enormous healing properties.

Green Burials Choosing earth-friendly burial grounds as your final resting place is a way to give back to the planet organically. Your family can also be eased of the expensive costs of elaborate coffins and embalming your body.
