The publication release date (October 24th) for Madeleine Walker's new book, An Exchange of Love: Animals Healing People in Past, Present and Future Lifetimes, finally arrived over the weekend. However, it may be difficult to get your hands on a copy of her wonderful book in the US prior to January 2009. Amazon's online bookstore has it in its inventory of books, but the status of its availability is "Temporarily out of stock" which basically means they have yet to get a shipment from the publishers. However, the book is available from booksellers in the UK and in Australia. So if you are looking to purchase the book as a holiday gift my suggestion is to order it from wherever you can find it even if you have to "anty up" some extra coin. In this case, extra shipping costs may apply in order to get a copy to your home if you live in the states before the upcoming holidays have passed. BTW - Madeleine's book would be a delightful gift for any animal lover. I had the opportunity to review a pre-release PDF draft of this book a few months ago - read my review - I have since been anxiously awaiting the release so I could get my own personal copy.
