My Persian cat Buford is old and losing weight. He has had many bladder infections. He was recently hospitalized for a bladder infection and dehydration. What do you suggest as a remedy for my cat's bladder infection?

Please help me figure out what possibly happened in Stormy's past that caused her such pain to not fully trust me now a days. I understand she had been in a barn fire as well as some sort of abuse judged by the scars on her side. Id love to figure out the key to fill in the gap between us. She is very trusting in most ways, except for being confined. No training seems to break these certain problems.
