Yes, hosting takes some effort sorting through the various submissions and posting the carnival, but all my hosts have told me that the benefits are worth it. Hosting the carnival brings traffic to your blog, you have the opportunity to meet new friends, and you'll learn alot when reviewing all the submissions.

This Week's Edition of the Carnival
I normally highlight three links from each carnival edition before sending carnival goers on to the big tent. But this week I have as yet not been able to attend the carnival to review the many healing attractions because I was with my daughter who was busy delivering a sweet baby boy (my first grandchild). So, I think missing the carnival was completely understandable. The great things about blog carnivals is that you can attend them when it is most convenient... so I'll be playing catchup.
Note: Carnival of Healing Editions are always posted on Saturdays. I realize that weekends are busy for many people and that getting to a computer is not always easy on Saturday.
