I just finished reading Eckhart Tolle's book, A New Earth : Awakening to Your Life's Purpose. And, just in time. It is just a few days until Oprah and Eckhart begins A New Earth Web Event. I have my seat reserved for March 3rd. How about you? Are you ready for an awakening? Or, if you feel you have already begun your awakening process, how about a a refresher course or being open to some new ideas? In order to WAKE UP you will need to install a special media player on your computer to view the web cast before the scheduled date... but it only takes a couple of minutes to do this. Their inspiration is very powerful!! Just think about how grand it is to be living during this most amazing time of the planet’s history!
Just the awareness alone of this global transformation of mankind is awe inspiring and exciting! How grand it is to see the emergence of a new consciousness society is embracing. Now we can all be part of this evolution towards a peaceful, loving society of hu(God)-Man BE ings…Oprah’s global audience is large enough to provide the collective turning point in this transition. Isn’t it wonderful to imagine a world guided by wisdom and unconditional love of self and others. When this happens…Christ has truly returned in full glory through each and every one of us as we BEcome the love that we are!
Having volunteered for The Love Foundation, an international organization with the mission to “inspire people to love unconditionally”, I feel that this upcoming GLOBAL LOVE DAY on May 1 will be just a glimpse of what yet will come. I too had problems with the webcast and was disappointed but I guess I needed to wait. I love your site and always keep up with what you are saying. I have read many things on the working of the ego and studied the teachings of Jesus and interpretations of Sermon on the Mount what they mean through a program and self teaching. Tolle’s book is similar to what I have learned through life’s lessons. It is really wonderful that so many others will benefit from these teachings by reading one book. It will open their minds and once opened, you thirst for more. With so many people experiencing and trying to implement these teachings daily, our world is sure to change. After all, we are all one. I too could not take the class because my computer is too old.. I couldn’t download the software to take the class, tho a friend of mine did try to take it and ran into difficulties viewing it with visual and audio disturbances also, so she was unable to participate as well.
Although many of us were unable to experience the class, I believe it is the beginning of the shift in consciousness much needed in our world and leading us into the promises of 2012.

I’ve been very slowly reading ANE, letting the ideas sink in becasue there are so many Ah-ha moments. Missed the Web cast too. Busy absorbing lessons, I guess, not sure I want to discuss them yet as though putting them in words will dilute and confuse if they have been embodied.
Maybe because I’m reading this at the same time as doing Marianne Williamson’s ACIM, also on O, I’m very aware of being ungrounded, almost transported. Back to earth, girl.

I also had trouble viewing last nights program. I had looked forward to so much but us very disappointed in understand some of the text that was complex and wanted to get verification of what i though it was. I am going to download the webnet so I can atleast get the class.
I also had a problem with the telecast but I felt that it was happening for a reason….this morning on Headline News there was Oprah apologizing for the problem bringing even more awareness to the book and the class….I am so proud to be a part of this amazing global awakening!!!…I love your site Phylameana!!!!
I am reading the book, slowly and with many post it notes… AND with much anticipation for the web classes. As of yet… have not talked to ANYone who made it thru the class without major web difficulties. I got 23 minutes in when had to start practicing the ‘power of now’
and realizing maybe I wasn’t suppose to see the class last night. 
(Well, it was either tap into that or drop kick the computer…)With great anticipation I am awaiting the download and Ipodcast to become available. Am still looking forward to the process and classes even if not able to participate in the multi thousand people forum/webinar. It’s got us talking… and reaching together toward a positive consciousness movement. Bad connection, shaky streaming, bad experience in webinar-ville or not… I still applaud Oprah and Mr. Tolle for their amazing efforts and gift offered to all of us with this experience. Hi, I also had technical diffiuculties. I actually was wondering whether the web would take 750,000 people on one site. I think it is a great idea and for me the time is right for this book, as I feel my awakening has started a year ago. So this book came at the right time. A will however try to see the session today.
I was unable to attend the class last night and I’m glad they will make the video available for download today.
I had attended similar online webcasts through HayHouseRadio and there were sometimes problems when thousands of people all logged on at the same time so I wondered how this cyber event would work out.
Anyway, I’m thrilled to be a part of this movement as it could not have come at a better time. I’m really enjoying the book and I like the idea of the class workbook–especially collecting quotes from each chapter to grow “my flower.”
I think lots of people had problems with the internet feed. There were so many people trying to access the same site, I was not surprised when it overloaded. I have a brand new laptop and cable DSL, so I know that wasn’t the problem.
Aside from that, what is happening is nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve been studying metaphysics for decades, so what I’m reading in NE is not new to me. It is, however, a really good review of the material I’ve read over the past 30 years plus. Tolle does an excellent job of presenting nonlinear thought in a way that Westerners can access. He and Oprah are connecting the pockets of individuals and groups who have been on the spiritual path for years with those who are just beginning. That’s a tremendously important connection, since we’re all in this together. This will be a collective leap in consciousness that will have a tsunami-like synergistic effect on our global village. I’ve been waiting a while at the beach with my surfboard, waiting to catch this wave. Now there will be millions of surfers catching it at the same time.

I must say that this is actually the first book that i have ever really read! Shocking…i know. I started the awakening process about 7yrs ago, and this book is right on time for me to confirm what i have been experiencing and to speed up and enhance that process. i am grateful. i also was signed on for class last nite and about 10 min. into it, the video and audio went haywire. at first i was disappointed, but then i said, no let me just go and read the remaining 50 or so pgs i had left. this is most certainly a new time, a new me a new us a new world….one that i dreamed of as a young girl, and secretly in my heart as an adult.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, I too, had difficulty viewing the broadcast last night. However, I am grateful that we will be able to download it and view at our leisure. I have read The Power of Now and have read A New Earth for the second time. I will probably read it again, as I learn sometning new every time I open the book. This is an exciting time of growth renewal and (re)connection to who we really are. We are all blessed.

I am reading the book, and was so looking forward to the class, but the problems would not let me watch it, I was so disappointed. I hope this problem can be fixed for the coming classes.

I had so much trouble with the site that I left two messages to them.
1st…..I think the world we see a noticeable change due to this webcast and book. I also asked Oprah if her trip cross country with Gayle would have been different if she had read the book first.
2nd….I told them that I was having such trouble with the webcast that my painbody was taking over and my ego needed a 12 step program..so I went to bed to meditate and think about my breathing.

I’m excited to see that Oprah is providing a forum for awareness and spiritual growth in the western world. I think we are living in unprecedented times. I just finished reading the transcript of the webcast from last night. There were 700,000 people tuned in! What an exceptional event for an exceptional time.
Two thousand years seperated Abraham and the coming of Christ; it’s been two thousand years since Jesus’ birth to our own day. It’s time, again, for a change in consciousness to enter the world. The world is looking for a new way. I believe Eckhart Tolle is part of this change which was begun with the publication of A Course in Miracles thirty-five years ago. The lessons from A Course in Miracles are now available on Oprah’s website. When I first discovered the book thirty years ago, I would never have believed it would become mainstream in such a short time. Eckhart Tolle’s books are in the same vein, recognizing the power of love/God-consciousness to overcome the tyranny of the ego, which has held us in thrall for millenia. People are waking up, realizing we can change the world by first changing ourselves. Slowly, the fact that we are all connected, all responsible for one another, is becoming accepted as we realize that the survival of our beautiful Earth depends on all of us working together. The time is now!
Honestly, I did a search on Eckhart Tolle and saw one of his lectures and was not impressed at all. I did not agree with his theories and found that he talked in circles. Unfortunately, I don’t feel I would be interested in purchasing his book.
