Self-Love Themed Carnival

Valentine's Day typically celebrates couple love in the media. Associations include hearts beating in unison, getting pierced by the cupid arrow, roses and poetry, etc. Daylle Deana Schwartz, on the other hand, has been celebrating self-love this past week on her blog, Lessons from a Recovering DoorMat. As the host of this week's Carnival of Healing she continues with her Self-Love theme. Daylle says:

I believe that taking care of body, mind and spirit is very loving. Having a Love Affair with Yourself is a strong catalyst for many other things that are beneficial to your soul. I learned to treat myself in special ways for V Day, and will continue throughout the year to nurture my self-love.
