Ten Life Lessons My Father Taught Me
Thursday May 31, 2007
My childhood was probably pretty typical of a young girl growing up in the fifties and sixties. Mom stayed at home with us kids while my father went to work. Dad worked every day except Sundays. He had Wednesday afteroons off, but worked late on Friday nights. But, whenever he was at home, he was there for Mom and us kids one hundred percent. I have many cherished memories from those early years. Ten life lessons I learned from my father when I was growing up might surprise you. Please feel free to post a comment about what you learned from your father about life.I love you Daddy!
Daddy Gallery Underway!
Recently launched Tribute to Nurturing Dads Photo Gallery is a showplace of photographs of fathers with their child/children.
Sons and Daughters: Did your father play a significant role in your life that helped you beome a well-grounded person or influenced your positive outlook on life?
Wives and Co-Parents: Is the father of your child doing an exceptional job in parenting?
I'd like to read your stories. In his honor, share a brief testimonial statement along with a treasured photo of your father, husband, or co-parent you'd like to see included in the gallery. My goal is to have 25 or more photos in the gallery by Father's Day 2007.
