What is a Karmic Reward?

Sunday May 6, 2007
A Karmic Reward is when something good comes from an unexpected source, but it came your way because you were SUPPOSED to have it to help balance those times when you didn't really get a fair shake. If you don't accept it graciously you will be sending a message to the Universe that you don't feel worthy. By conveying ungrateful or unworthiness messages you will likely be overlooked the next time or at the very least be sent to the back of the line for any future handouts. Keep your hands, heart, and mind open to receive. Believe that you are deserving of karmic rewards! I AM deserving, and You ARE too.

Article: Karmic Justice and Karmic Rewards - Your Soul's Check And Balance Accounting System

Stephen Petullo, author of "Your Love Life and Reincarnation" posted a comment about my article about Karmic Rewards (read his full comment). He disagrees with my opinion that karmic rewards are about balancing things out... Stephen says reaping karmic rewards "is more about something you get now because you've Earned it from past lives." What do you think?

Hi Phylameana,

You posted information about my book, Your Love Life and Reincarnation, back in 2002. Thank you again. I receive your newsletter and enjoy reading it. I noticed the following in the article titled Your Soul’s Check And Balance Accounting System.

“What is a Karmic Reward?
A Karmic Reward is when something good comes from an unexpected source, but it came your way because you were SUPPOSED to have it to help balance those times when you didn’t really get a fair shake. If you don’t accept it graciously you will be sending a message to the Universe that you don’t feel worthy. By conveying ungrateful or unworthiness messages you will likely be overlooked the next time or at the very least be sent to the back of the line for any future handouts. ”

I agree with you about accepting things graciously in order to send the right message to the universe. However, a karmic reward, based on my experience of regressing over 2000 people into past lives, is more about something you get now because you’ve EARNED it from past lives. It’s not about balancing things out or fairness. Even someone who wins on American Idol earned that from past life actions.

The more work I do in this field, the more I feel that much of life is karmic; what we get now, the good and the bad, is what we’ve created for ourselves through our actions, words, and intent in past lives and this life.

Just thought I’d share my view.

Keep up the great work!

In Light,

Stephen

Our karmic rewards come from facing our challenges NOW no matter what life time we created the situation in. If we face and surmount the challenge with Love we will have good karma. Like-wise if faced with negitivity our karma will be negitive and the challenge will appear again and again until we face it with love for ALL those involved including ourselves

Rewards are rewards, things to make us sigh with relief just when the going gets too tough. They can come from past lives or this present life doesnt matter because they dont last and they arent meant to last. I have learnt if I start feeling too good about the good times, I’m suddenly presented with a fresh set of challenges, that are a whole lot more difficult. Isnt Life fun ?;)

The best and similist way to get the concept of Karma as explained to me by my Dad some thirtyfive years ago, and I now teach my four children is that when you do wrong, wrong comes back to you. And when you do good good comes back to you. You reap what you sow. whether it is now or later it is coming back to you.

Question; I live alone with my two dogs who I consider to be my closest friends and family. I use a double dorjes Tibetan ritual item for security because I was told that it represents the destruction of all evil and that wich can not be destroid. What karma if any does tis bring me?
