The symbols carved on my Amethyst Rune Stone Set are from the Elder Futhark Alphabet. The Elder Futhark, aka Older Futhar, is the oldest form of the runic alphabet depicting 24 different characters/letters. For divination purposes each alpha-letter is attributed to specific meanings. I got my Rune stones (pictured in the gallery) several years ago from Patti Large, she calls herself the “Stone Speaker”
