Affirmation of the Day

thank you for the opportunity to be in this drawing. i recently have gotten divorved and am a mom with two children a boy 14 and a girl 10. after being on my own for so long i have decided to start a relationship with a man i truly care for but we have little problems at times. winning this book for both of us to read would be a great learning expierance for both. thank you and god bless
My two children are my blessings. No matter what, seeing the world again through their young eyes is something I’ll never forget.
My greatest blessing came to me when I brought a homeless girl into my life and home. Jeanie was just 9 when abandoned. She has brought me more joy and happiness than I could ever give her. It is true what is said, you receive more for yourself when you give to someone else.
Being alive and being able to experience life on earth and achieve all that is awaiting me, is my greatest blessing.
One of my greatest blessings is to be able to earn my living at doing what I love-massage therapy. I still love helping people, and growing and learning each day through that.
My 5 month old is my biggest blessing in my life. Being able to balance between work, being a mom, wife, and running a household, and finding an hour to myself everyday is a blessing!
One of my greatest blessings is being able to share with others what I have learned along the way.
my greatest blessing is my sister, diane. to me to have a sister i love dearly, and have her as my best friend is truly amazing. she is my mentor, teacher, coach, girlfriend, comrade, and partner in wild escapades!(lol) the list goes on and on and i give thanks for her being in my life everyday.
I count my significant other as a great blessing. The last man I was with broke my heart, and it took me almost two years to find my dear one. He had changed my life.
I was blessed to be able to give my kidney to my daughter. The transplant was successful and 5 years later she has a baby boy. I was able to give life…..Thanks be to God. Sincerely, Karen
my greatest blessing is having lived 74 years and in perfect health, being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, watching the world evolve from depression era to extreme abundance.[altho i'm not sure thats a blessing]
My 5 children and their beautiful children bring great joy to my life, remember there’s always someone worse off than yourself
Namaste,Kas X
The simple things and choices I’m free to make in my daily life are the greatest blessing I can receive. If I keep my senses open, including my mind and attitude, I am able to see endless blessings bestowed upon me moment after moment. Even the rough and tough moments in my life are blessings. I am grateful that I have the life I have and thank my higher spirit for everything that crosses my path. God is good is an almost constant thought and I am also thankful to have the ability for good thoughts.
When I was told I had only days or weeks to live and that I should go home and get my affairs in order, I challenged my God to prove His/Her existence by showing me a miracle that would heal my undiagnosed illness.
That night a noisy mockingbird outside the window that I never closed, made me close the window, and in the morning I could smell the natural gas leak that was killing me.
Since that day 19 years ago, I am grateful for each and every moment of my life, no matter how much pain I live with due to the damage the exposure did to my immune system….I AM HERE!
I learned that EVERY cloud has a silver lining, and that our miracles are given to us…we just have to learn to recognize them and claim them.
I am so thankful for the love of my life!! I met a gentleman via the Internet four years ago. We always had such a good time when we were together. Last January he asked me to marry him and we were married May 6th and are living happily together at his house. We are both over 73, and I’m so thankful for our life together!!
One of my many blessings is having friends that help you in times of need. I was in a bad relationship and needed to move my things out while he was at work. My friends pitched in and move me out in about four hours!
I count my blessings (and grattitude) at the end of each day, and at times its hard to realize I have so many today!! I think for me right now, the blessing I would like to share, is the fact that over my younger years, I became an addict/alcholic and lost the respect of alot of people, including my children. Today they are all back in my life and closer than ever! They all have also blessed me with grandchildren who have never seen me drink or drug!!!
For that I am truly blessed…
I have been blessed so much but my wonderful family–my 2 boys & 4 grandchildren–as well as our extended family is at the top of my list.
I have fibromyalgia, and live with pain, illness and fatigue. However, I have found that being thankful for all the little things really add up. These are some of the many things I am thankful for: A loving husband that helps me out more than most husbands would, three beautiful and fairly healthy young ladies that are my daughters, the pets we have include a dog, seven cats, and seven horses. That we have 40 acres to call home, that looks over a beautiful slough that attracts hundreds of birds, sometimes thousands when they fly thru. For being able to pay the bills even though it is very tight. For love, and what health I do have. We are thankful God continues to bless our lives each and every day for the little miracles he gives us.
I am blessed with an amazing foundation and network of friends and family.
There are so many things I am grateful for—as of a week ago, I am thankful for two energetic puppies occupying the “empty nest” left by my two daughters away at college. Actually, I am truly grateful for my daughters who are always looking out for mom.
I am thankful for my Masters, who have shown me the way ad brought my shadows into the light. I am thankful for my friends who have stood by me even when I am a jerk. I am thankful to the Goddess who gave me life and who has brought all these people into my life.
OOOOfff… I have so many blessings in my life, countless…my getting out of a very strong depression, all the help i’ve got all along my life, from people and God and my beloved Angels, my family, my education, my health, every part and organ in my body working perfectly, the place where I live, my current studies at an Art academy, all the beautiful people who have crossed my path, my adorable lovely cat (Ollin) which is my peace of heaven and tenderness, all the love I receive in so many ways, the water I can drink and shower with, my Vegetarian diet and all the wonderfull grains, fruits and vegetables that exist and i can use for my own health, uuuuh, so many
…and more recently the beautiful door that was opened for me to access the Angelic Realm… my life is full of blessings!
If i win a book or not, i am certainly greatful for everything that I have and don’t have in my life…
Thanks dear Phylameana for giving me the opportunity to be aware once again of all my blessings…
Blessings to all, in love and light
*Ollin*
I have been a Certified Aromatherapy Teacher for many years. I have massaged hundereds of clients and students throughout the years. I also massaged these people with chamomile essential oil and lots of it as people love this oil and many products are made from this essential oil. There are other products as well from the compositae family like sunflower oil calendula oil. I have used these too in massages throughout the years. Unfortunately last year the compositae family created severe ragweed allergies in my body. I never knew I was born with small eustacian tubes until last year when they closed and my eustacian tubes became very swollen. I felt like my ears were extremely full and I always had to yawn to pop my ears even while I was teaching. I went to a specialist who told me what had happened. A couple of weeks ago, I was doing more research on essential oils and discovered the power of Geranium essential oil for tinnitus. Even today I put this over my ear and discovered that this is healing my ear. The sound is not there and I feel a healing warm feeling where I have placed this straight. I also placed essential oil of lavender on the top of this. Lavender essential oil enhances properties of other essential oils. Now I have discovered that essential oil of Geranium truly heals tinnitus. Thanks God!
It used to be that I took many things for granted. I always felt blessed, but a lot more of the little things slipped by me. With a long-term illness entering my oldest daughters’ life 13 years ago I have realized that just being blessed with my children or their being healthy no longer completely applies. After facing the possibility that she might die and watching her bravery with her pain, I feel blessed that she is just alive and coping with her illness. The gratefullness that I feel for the good health and inner strength of my other two children is more than I could possibly express with words. Our blessings are many, our thanks are continuous.
On July 4 of this year we received a frantic phone call from our son Cody. His wife, Abby, was being life flighted to the hospital. It was assumed she had passed out and hit her head on the tub. Imagine our shock when after a CT was done at the hospital the doctors told us she had a brain aneurysm – she just turn 26 years old. She was then taken by ambulance to another hospital, the only one in the area and the only one of 11 in the country with the capability to perform what is known as a coil procedure where tiny coils are inserted through arteries in her leg and then up to her brain and into the aneurysm to stop the bleeding. She was in the Neuro ICU unit for 2 weeks and sent home a few days later only to be rushed back a day later with more swelling in another part of her brain that controls speech. She knew what she wanted to say but couldn’t get the words out. After another week in Neuro ICU the doctors were able to control the swelling and she has now been at home recovering and doing well for the past week and a half.
What I count as blessings:
That Abby is still here with us.
That the Neuro surgeon who preformed the surgery had the talent given to him to save her life.
That we were placed in a city that has the medical facility to perform the life saving procedure.
And that July 4th was a holiday and Cody was home that day with Abby because it was her normal day off and she would have been alone.
We have many, many other blessings in our lives but the recent events really brought them all to light for us and most of all, to my young son and daughter-in-law. They truly know now what “Blessings” are.
I thank God for giving me a happy heart and the strenght to overcome whatever “problems” (now I see them as lessons) that I have encountered in my life =) I thank him for the gift of life!
I am thankful for my continuous sobriety from a Power greater than me. I have chronic pain from osteoarthritis in my spine and throughout my joints and just the ability to move my body is a blessing for me.
I suffered a heart stroke in 2001 and that event changed my life. God has given me a gentle warning that I have to be careful with my lifestyle and habits. With Giod’s blessings, I got into meditation, prayers, certain Yoga practices and energy healing techniques such as Reiki, which changed my life completely. I am now much more calm, focused and caring to others and trying to see my own life pattern in the broader sense. During prayers and meditation, I receive a bright golden-white light above my head which gives me a lot of strength, feeling of lightness and deep inner peace. It’s all because of God’s blessings to me. I am ever grateful to God for showing me a path of love, care, compassion, inner search and wisdom.
I’ve been so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life who not only do I care about but who care about me in return.
Where to start! In spite of “my” plans for my life and the unhappy marriage I was in for 20 years I am now living with multiple illnesses trying to get disability… God obviously had different plans for my life and I am grateful not only for all He has provided but for giving me the ability to see the good in spite of all the unhappiness and hardships that never seem to go away.
My blessings: the person who God provided in my life at a time when I really needed him…for without him I would have no home to live in, enough food to eat (with my special diet needs), clothes to wear or something to smile about daily. I am also grateful for the ability to do some sewing to make just enough money to pay for my meds and medical care each month as well as for the rides I get since I now no longer drive. Especially for my two sons who both provide for me. The older one with rides to the grocery store or medical needs as he can. The younger one for this computer…even though he earns very little without this I would be very isolated here at home. The computer allows me to keep in touch with the world. I am also grateful for my parents who have been most wonderful to me over the years as well as setting a good example for others with their hard work and love and their 55 plus year marriage. I am grateful for the phone service my main blessing has chosen that allows me to speak to my parents anytime I want without it being long distance. I am also grateful for all the little things God has done for me over time… grateful for the time years ago driving on the expressway the blonde woman in a red sports car who told me about the tire problem before I got out of the city where there would have been no help. I am grateful for feeling the protective wings of the angels who covered my car with my son and I inside when someone pulled out in front of us and hit the car in the next lane not getting one stratch on my car in spite of the closeness of the incident and the amount of flying debris. I am grateful for the numerous friends who have helped me in many ways when I desperately needed it. Friends like Edna and Vic who have now gone to be with God. Friends like Bonny and Marie and Maria who each helped me in some special way. I am grateful for more than I can say… there has been so much! So much to be grateful for even with the hardships, limitations, and physical pain I live with every day. I am grateful for so much! Yes indeed… very grateful!
Where to begin?? This has been a year of gratitude – from the special friends who have seemingly just appeared into my life out of no-where, to specific answers from the Divine regarding personal issues. Words are inadequate to what I feel.
My blessing is passing on the most important thing I have learned in my life: THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE ARE NOT THE ONES WITH THE MOST CREDENTIALS, THE MOST MONEY, OR THE MOST AWARDS. THEY ARE, WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE ONES WHO TRULY CARE. YOU KNOW WHO THOSE PEOPLE ARE. The other blessings in my life are the lessons I learned from my parents about treating others as you want to be treated. I think about this in every situation I encounter. Always think about walking in the other persons shoes before you judge them. Finally, the blessing of knowing in my heart that the truth will set me free. I must add that my Maltese, Sassy, is one of the best blessings I could ever hope for. She shows me, on a daily basis, to count my blessings just by the simple things.
I AM A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC.I HAVE BEEN SOBER FOR SEVEN MONTHS AND IT’S REALLY HARD FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF THE AA PROGRAM. MY SPONSOR TOLD ME I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH GRATITUDE FOR THE GIFTS I HAVE BEEN GIVEN AND MAYBE YOUR BOOK HAS THE ANSWERS I’M LOOKING FOR .I REALLY WANT THIS TO WORK BUT SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY MISSING IN MY PROGRAM. MAYBE YOU’RE THE MISSING PIECE OF THE PUZZLE. THANKS FOR EVEN READING THIS.
i am truly blessed to see how other people have been truly blessed… my life is filled with blessings, but up until not that long ago, was i even aware of the blessings and how i took them for granted… my eyes, ears, heart and mind are being opened and for that as well, i am truly blessed…
To me, the greatest blessing, available to everyone, is hope. With hope one can overcome or endure almost anything.
I say thank you for the awakening to a new day, with the chance to amend any previous transgressions.
Thank you!
I am blessed by my creative energy and my art and the delightful humor of my higher power.
I am grateful for the oppertunity to learn about the things that I want to learn about and to expand my sprituality. I am grateful for everyone around me that loves and cares for me. I am grateful for every morning I wake up.
I have had a rough year and I’m reading everything I can to open my heart to see the wonderful blessings that are in the world.
My husband and my daughter are my blessings. I thank God for giving me them. They are my source of love and strength.
Iam greatful for my husband because of him,We have 3 daughters, all healthy,a home to live in and food to eat. Some people are starving and have no choices.Iam greatful we still all love eachother, for many familys are in more trouble. Iam greatful that all of us have pretty good health, many had diseases like emphysema and bronchitis,we still have very much energy to exercise & do our daily work at home & outside our home. Iam Greatful to have been born in U.S.A. with a safe and economically strong country, and where we have the freedoms under our constitution to speak, write, some countries don’t allow this.Iam greatful for the people of our country,we are a diverse people which combines to make more understanding and learning. Iam greatful, our country has many types of religions, for we can broaden our spiritual experiences and furthur try to become better spiritual people. I also am greatful for About.com,because of About.com,my family and I can learn thousands of new things by the specialists in their topics,I can keep current, and alert-minded. I hope I win this book, because it is an excellent book to share with my family, who Iam most greatful of.
During the past year, my life has been fraught with numerous adverse events including leaving my job unexpectedly, loss of my 5yr relationship, unemployment, inability to pay the bills, the possibility of foreclosure on my home, fallout freom my previous employment and car repairs. My home has been for sale for several months, and has had only one serious offer—a subject-to-sale of another home. The submission of 80+ resumes and applications netted only 3 interviews. I recently began a fulltime job and still will not earn enough to pay the bills, purchase food and medications. I have experienced an outpouring of support and encouragement from friends, old and new, and family. Those surrounding me have given me their shoulders, fed me, offered their homes, encouraged me and provided transportation. I recently joined a discussion group, based on “What The Bleep Do We Know?” On an almost weekly basis, I am meeting more and more positive people, some of whom are on the same spiritual quest as I. I discovered the Affirmations newsletter, to which I subscribed. Doors are opening for me to begin my own business, which will allow me to supplement my new-found job, working in a field that greatly appeals to me. The left ball joint broke on my car, as I was pulling away from a parking space. The day before I had run numerous errands with my elderly mother in the car, with the temperature hovering around 100 degrees. Had the joint broken then, I would have had no way to get her home, 20 miles away. And, if the joint had broken on the highway betweeen towns (at 65 mph), the outcome could have been quite tragic. Today, I’m striving for peace, contentment, tranquility, gratitude, serenity—all of those things that mean life is okay and I am a part of it. I am seeking spiritual strengthening that will drive away the fear, anxiety and pain borne out of the past year. And, I am finding it all around me, every day. It is in the people and the events that surround me. I am truly grateful for each and every one.
I also count the things in my life that aren’t blessings and when I do, they surprisingly enough turn into blessings!
Working with hospice is one of the most incredible blessings of life in being with those as they make the transition to the next part of their journey. God has blessed me over & over with a family that enrichs my life & loves me unconditionally.
Most profound is the blessing of knowing I am loved by Creator regardless of my own judgements or misunderstandings about myself.
I believe that in learning more and more to love myself, I then can open up to love others and truly walk this earth in grace and power.
I have overcome many challenges in this life, and through it all I have experienced the presence of God’s love guiding me, protecting me and and supporting me to reach my highest potential. For that I am grateful.
As I experience these things they give me hope and with hope I have been able to go on and contribute to others.
I am grateful for discovering that any thoughts that are negative or destructive are from a place of darkness and do not allow me to radiate my light. So daily I affirm God’s love for me and thank Him for the many blessings I have been given.
My husband of 28 years is the best blessing that I have had in my life. He has allowed me to grow as a person and I can’t tell you how much of a support he has been. At this point in our lives, he has to live in another state, for financial reasons. We have been living apart for almost a year with occasional visits back and forth. Even through this, I have been able to experience blessings in our marriage through out. So I am very grateful for my husband and our strong marriage.
I think my greatest blessing has been that I spent almost two months in New Orleans, right after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. I was there to help rescue the abandoned animals, leave food & water for all the animals wandering the sreets and therefore helping the people of new Orleans who had to leave their pets behind. Joan
I am gratful to be on planet Earth.
Go to http://www.blisswood.net and you will see God’s blessings to me. It says it all. My lastest most profound blessing was the chef God placed at my feet, a Katrina evacuee who drove for 39 hours and could not find a place to stay until he came to Sealy, Texas, which is about 12 miles from here, out in the country. I needed a chef, hired him, and we became blessings to each other. Each day we would say that to each other, until one quick moment on March 14th God tagged him and said, “You’re it,” as his car rolled over and now Chef Theo is preparing the best feasts in heaven. His never-ending smile, enthusiasm, always positive attitude live on and that is the greatest blessing.
Two and a half years ago I started volunteering in an orphanage. This is where I met Nana, she was 11 months then, 3.5 years today.
When Nana is sitting in my lap, or when we are playing, there is no future and no past. There is only now, only the present moment. Nana is my biggest blessing.
Having my son recently deployed to Irag and my daughter “finding herself” in North Carolina and just the daily ups and downs of my life, I find a true blessing in my garden. I have watched the little seeds and plants grow into a myriad of beautiful colors and blooms and find a true blessing in their growth. It gives me hope for better growth for me and my family in the future.
I am thankful that I have so much love to give and receive. Took me a while to understand that one.
This past Saturday our 12 year old neice came to stay with us. Her father has terminal cancer and her mother is a heroin addict. My husband and I are in our late 50’s and we decided that our house was the safest and loving home she could ever be in. It has only been 3 days and she has blessed us in so many ways- she is a little girl who has seen more than any adult I know. We are in the process of getting custody so she can have a permanent home with us. She will also now have 3 stepbrothers and 2 stepsister plus lots of loving cousins she never knew. My husband and I are blessed many times over having this little angel with us and I am forever grateful for this change in our lives. Sometimes the most tragic situation turns into a miracle with God’s grace.
The most awesome blessing I have experience was accepting the Lord in my life. He is my everything… He never leaves me nor forsakes me… he blesses me daily… and His love is everlasting and unconditional… a true friend… My Abba Father… this is my greatest blessing… He knocked and I opened the door… and He came in…
My greatest blessings are my Grandchildren. They are the gifts of aging and the rewards of living. They are always a source of love, hope and laughter. They are medicine for the soul.
They say if you have one good friend in your life you are blessed. I have several that I have had since I was a child. While they will never realize it, they have completed my life in so many ways.. I am forever grateful for this gift from God/dess.
Hi! I have realized how important my spirit helpers are…And if I thank the spirit of prosperity and the spirit of success every day, I have more good fortune entering into my life each day–and it is not always monetary, even though my business is going stronger than it ever has, but things that are important like new friends, better working relationships with people at work, better understanding/compassion for my children and the peer pressure they may be going through. It has definitely changed my life for the best!! Try it yourself and see!! I’d like to be able to go onto more “heights” and help change other’s lives for the better or become a healer!
The very fact that you are alive and healthy and enjoying living is enough to count your blessings
I believe it is a great blessing for me that I have been connected to such a beautiful website through which I am having so much enlightment. Thank you very much.
Thank you for the chance to express my gratitude.
Life is my blessing. I have been very blessed to have a beautiful family and the ability to fulfull most of my. And even though at times life has not been eazy, I thank god for having the fortitude to overcome and learn. Making me a better person.
My greatest blessing is my daughter, who is now 9 years old. I still look at her and wonder how I got so lucky as to have such a beautiful and smart child, and one who has such a big heart! I don’t know what I would ever do without her in my life!
I am very grateful for the blessing of my life and the opportunities that gives. Wonderful friends and family, kind and supportive teachers. A lovely home to live in with my husband of 33 plus years.
My health is continuing to improve with Shamanic and Complementary healing methods which is a huge blessing.
Thank you for the gift of your web-site and for receiving many blessings that way.
The blessing of being is beyond words, though.
Kind Regards; Cathryn
I count as blessings in my life my two grandchildren ages three and one, a girl and a boy. I am a young grandmom at the age of 34, to my daughter who was only fourteen then. It surely breaks a heart of any mom to have a her daughter a very young teen-age mother but I learned to accept tjis a life’s reality and moved on. I admire my daughter for her courage and my two grandchildren are our family’s little angels and source of happiness and inspiration.
Sincerely,

I am most grateful for my broken childhood, for without it, I wouldn’t be the loving mother I’ve always longed for. Of all the roles I play here on earth, this is the most important role. Without the pain of having been abused, neglected and abandoned, I never would have known how to excel in this role.
Just recently I went to see Dr Demartini t University of Cape Town – and I believe this book has my name on it
Thank you for sharing this new book. Gratitude is the milk and honey of life. I am grateful for so many things but one of my greatest blessings is having two of my sons in recovery for drug and alcohol addiction. One has been clean and sober for three years and the youngest has been clean and sober for five months. I thank my Higher Power and their’s and all of the wonderful people in AA for these two miracles. Thank you giving me the opportunity to share.
Take Care and Thank You for the work you do and forthe information you share. You are also a Blessing!
I’ve been blessed to be diagnosed with MS, Arnold Chiari Malformation and Sjogren’s Syndrome, all within a year of one another. At first, I thought life as I knew it was over for me. What I’ve discovered is it takes leaps of faith to see each day through, a God who loves me and wants the best for me, and I’ve finally learned to appreciate all the blessings my great God has given me…my family, my faith and my friends. How would I have learned this, if not for the blessing of Chronic Illness?
No matter how bad the news is or how tuff life is on my family, I am fortunate to be able to get up every beautiful day and make the world a better place for those I care about and the world around me. I love to work in my organic garden and share the bounty with my friends. Place good vibes and energy out in the world and you will reap awesome rewards though out your life. Anger, turmoil and hate are what evil thrives on. Never sow these things in your garden of life. May you reap a bounty of happiness all your days on Mother Earth
My spirit is most grateful for LOVE, which embraces and captures all that is most meaningful in my life. The LOVE of my Creator, my family, my friends….has lifted me when I felt overwhelmed by life’s challenges—my husband’s early disablity from stroke, my own early disability from neurological illness,
having our financial means stripped away to a point where people around us know it is a miracle we have remained in our own home with bills paid (so far!). In
the face of daunting crisis, LOVE has led the way to answers. LOVE has given me the courage, grace, and intuitive direction needed to continue to move forward on my path. So that is my gratitude—for LOVE….which does not belong to me alone, but to each one of us if we are open to it.
I started a Gratitude Journal about a month ago. What a difference it has made! I have become aware of many things in my life that are truly blessings. Life, Breath, Family & Friends…..God’s green Earth, Sky and Sea. And Jimmy, my Earth Angel who helped me become more aware of the miracles and blessings of Life. Bless you dear heart. Thank God for angels like you. Never look down, always look up.
I would just like to say that having the unconditional love & acceptance of my wonderful friends is my greatest blessing, and one that continually makes my heart smile whenever I think of them.
My husband is my biggest blessing. He unsderstands me the best and has always the word of wisdom to bring me back to earth when I worry about everything too much. Love cures all!
My greatest blessings are my two children. My 23 year old “handicapped “daughter has taught me the values of patience and acceptance and my 19 year old son has taught me how not to “sweat the small stuff” and the value of humor! They are the best!
My greatest blessing exists in equine form. Because of past events in my life, I had formed a wall around myself. The problem is that walls not only keep things from coming in, but also keep things from going out. My mistrust and fear kept me from truly *feeling*.
Little by little, day by day, my equine angel has shown me not only how to love her, but how to allow myself to love and be loved by others in my life. She is teaching me who I am and I am a better wife, mother, friend, daughter,…a being of light…as together the hurts are being healed and I grow in joy and spirit.
I find it difficult to put into words how tremendously empathic, intuitive, and honest that equine healers are and how this has transformed me into a more peaceful and contented person over the past couple years. I know now that I am worthy, I am good, I am strong, and that I am loving.
It isnt enough for me to simply *say* that I am blessed because of my equine angel…I wake up every morning FEELING blessed and that joy flows through me like a warm, glowing light.
Thank you Lottie; I love you, my beautiful friend!
Hi! Everyday I feel my blessings.I feel God’s eyes upon me.I survived to a horible car accident, I had an unhappy abusing childhood, I had to concentrate on surviving, not on a carieer, but I feel blessed because I learned from everything that happened to me and I feel that I’m a better person. I appreciate everything in my life and I’m happy that I found “my half”. I feel like I was given a second chance to study for a carieer for myself and to paint and to discover all the craft work.
I’m praying for my mom to be able to get over the abuse, that she endure for 26 years ,also.I wish that she can be happy, that can see beyond all the bads.
I wish that she can read the book, to see how blessed she is…
I am enjoying my life’s biggest blessing right now- my grandchildren.
I am so grateful for my husband Kevin. He came into my life in October of 1990, when I was in my mid-30’s, after I had almost given up on finding that someone special. Prior to that, I was in a number of emotionally abusive and otherwise unhealthy relationships, most likely due to low self-esteem. Not a day goes by that I don’t count my blessings that we somehow found each other, and that I was finally able to recognize a wonderful man as soon as I met him, and that I realized that I deserved happiness. Kevin is my lover and my best friend. We will be celebrating our 14th anniversary on October 24th.
My greatest blessing is that God opened my eyes to see that this man on Single Parent Network whom I’d been chatting to was in fact, a Nigerian Romance Scanner – I was smart enough not to send him any money.
I give thanks for the blessing of life,
the ways of God and that all we have to do is listen. To see the world through the eyes of my grandchildren and pets who provide daily reminders that we only have the moment and to live fully in it!
The main blessing in my live is know that I have saving grace with God.
I have so many blessing in my life. I have 3 beautiful children, two which I gave birth to and one that God sent to me. Along with my girls I have 6 beautiful GRANDchildren.
God has blessed me with two careers in which I can help people (paramedic and massge therapist).
I have been blessed so much. I just wish I knew how to make someone special in my life to know that they are blessed.
Hi,
I sure do count my blessings. GOD has been good to me. AT the age of 42 I gave birth to a beautiful, loving boy who is now 9 years old. I have husband, who really and truly cares for me. I was operated for breast cancer a year ago and my husband has been with me all the while, my support and my strength.

Recently a man came into my life from an unexpected place. I’ve been truly blessed by his presence and have discovered many things about myself from him. Every day is an opportunity to learn more about oneself. His wisdom amazes me as he gently guides me in changing thought patterns that are unhealthy. He has shown me that I do not need to let my past control my present life. This man is a blessing that far exceeds any expectations I’ve ever had. And if that isn’t enough, he loves me and wants to spend the rest of our lives with one another. Thank you, God, for the blessing of Michael in my life.
Be passionate about life, everything that is there and everything that happens. Be grateful and you will see how happy you will be. Namaste’
My biggest blessing are the creatures with whom I can share the highs and lows of my life and they are my wife, my brother and my parents. These are the four persons whose company i enjoy most and i think i am lucky to be around them. I value human relationships as more of a blessing as against the material blessings which are in abundance given to us by God. You never know how much time you have to cherish these living experiences and share with your dear ones so i enjoy each and every moment with my family.
Believing in God is my first and most important blessing.I believe that He is always with me and is taking care of me.This belief has helped me through my life.Every time I am happy and successful I know HE gives this happiness to me.And when I am sad and in agony,I know He wants to teach me some lesson and He watches and guides me as well.So I am always cofident and happy in my life.
I have a gratitude rock and gave another to my husband. He is ALWAYS at the top of my gratitude list. We both have jobs we love and can walk to – no time wasted in commuting. We have good relations with both sides of the family and wonderful friends. We have enough money to meet our needs and many of our wants. We are SO blessed!
We used the cheque on the Secret website last week and put in a big amount that my husband had come to his mind several times in the past month.
I am thankful for the life I live. Loving family, comfortable home and life, food, a business, and the nature all around me.
My blessing are:
My daughter — who is irritating and frustrating and inspiring and wonderful and amazing all at the same time (yup, an early teen).
My mom — who has become a great friend now that I’m an adult.
My husband — because someone has to do the dished (also, because he loves me a lot).
My friends — because we all get one another, inspire one another, and share ourselves with one another.
My job — because I make good money and have excellent coworkers.
My cats — who prefer me above all others (being wanted and needed feels nice).
My spirituality — because ever since I traded in religion for spirituality, I am closer to God and happier in life.
Obviously the contest is over, but is the posting of blessings still going on? I belong to an online “Gratitudes” group where we post our daily gratitudes. I always post at least six.
Gratitude lives on – post contest. That in itself is a blessing!
I was on a ladder and it slipped out from under me. The result is an operation to my calcaneous and it has made me realise that in life you should not put off till tomorrow, for what you can do today.
This event taught me that we as the human race take so much for granted (our health, our position and status in society)that we don’t stop to realise what a blessing it is to be able to walk as everything we do involves getting from A to B.
I now have to rely on my wonderful daugher to cook, clean and carry … I am counting my days to recovery and cannot wait to run outside in the rain to get the washing off the line, to cook a meal for the hungry clan and to be able to drive the car myself (all which in the past was an effort on days that I was having a bad day)… and do it without even grumbling and mumbling under the breath.
This lesson has opened my eyes and I am truly grateful that I was let off so lightly as I look around and see what other people have to endure …….
Thanks to my family (Mom and Dad, Pete and Kelli) and loyal pets (Sylvester, Jessie and Fluke) who make each day a bright day. I love you all (06/08)
PS Just love #88 comments – I can relate
I recently viewed a program on The Law of Attraction and Good Intentions. The information was both amazing and exciting. Since then, I have created a Vision Board for myself and each morning while driving to work, say this affirmation: “I am so very happy and profoundly grateful for the many gifts and blessings I receive each day. Thank you God for all things”. Interesting things are happening to me. I feel more content, peaceful and am more accepting of things that at one time would upset me. Abundance is flowing into my life. I feel a stronger connection to the Universe and believe in my heart that I Am Loved and that All is Well.
Abundance to everyone reading this.
The greatest blessings in my life is the chance to take care of my widow mother in her old age. It is a rarity in today’s world for children to get the chance, the time and mindset to cater to the emotional, physical and psychological needs of aged parents. My other blessings are great children, very supportive friends, a great career combined with a unique spare-time business opportunity to mentor people to help tehmselves
My biggest Blessing is my Recovery from drug addiction,my children wihout a doupt are mygreasest gift from my higher power ,But nothing comes before my recovery.Because anything I put before my recovery I wiil lose.

I am thankful to be alive and experiencing financial difficulties. In return I am able to help others work through issues around financial bankruptcy. I have been blessed with the opportunity to redeem myself and work through my law of attraction around money. I find this website inspirational and a blessing to help me through my broken spirit.
I have so much to be thankful!! I am so blessed and thankful for my excellent health, ,my restored relationship with a sweet boyfriend, my loving family and friends and sweet and healthy dog, and my rewarding career and present job (and pay check), and my home to keep. I express my gratitude now for every god has given me, and hope I remembered everything. I also want to express sincere gratitude for my special valentine’s day eve night with you know who. That meant everything to me god and I will be forever grateful. Thank you god for your infinite blessings and for all the blessings I am receiving in every area of my life right now.
I am thankful that I have great kids and a roof over my head. I am also thankful that I have overcome alot of obstacles so far on this journey. I am thankful to have my job and for the ability to get out of bed and go to work everyday.
Hi in 1995 my son who was then 2 had a killing disease .All I know is that every morning I would go out in the early morning rays of the sun and with a heart full of gratitude just say thank you that my son could see the sun rise yet another day .He got over the sickness and is now a fine young man of 15 doing well in sports and at school .I had absolutely no idea that it was a law of the Universe but it came straight from the heart …
Good health is the most important blessing! which is so easy to take for granted; yet life would be a misery without it..
Thank you for the peace in my life..for the ever growing synchronicities…for the love and abundance that flows to me and through me….for natures gentle sounds, colours and movements….for loving harmonious relationships…for Gods greatest gift…life…
I’m so thankful for the abundance of money, health, prosperity, family, intelligence, spirituality and much more!
My greatest blessings are i suffered 4 heart attacks, 2 failed metal heart stents and three mild strokes. To me with this i am still able to work as per normal. On top of this i have a disabled daughter and being the sole breadwinner, i give thanks to life for taking care of all my needs in a perfect way.
My advise to others, ALWAYS BE IN GRATITUDE NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. NOTHING STAYS, EVERYTHING MOVES. Cheers with GOD BLESS
