Do the colors you are wearing match your feelings?

Color Therapy and Your Wardrobe

I'm very much a mood dresser, how about you? Have you taken inventory of your closet lately? You may be in a fashion rut and need to introduce some new articles of clothing into your wardrobe with different colors that will best reflect your mood swings. Wearing the wrong color can make you feel out of sorts with yourself. Do you have a favorite color that you wear more than others? Or, have you ever gone through a particular color phase? I swear I wore pink in one shade or another almost everyday for a full year during the early eighties. Unless your mother is still dressing you or you are a slave to following the latest fashion trends, the colors you choose to wear are quite revealing as to where your emotions are. Wearing various colors can offer a few clues as to what feelings may be churning inside your emotional body.

OOOOOOOOOO I love this!

A woman I used to work with when I lived in Southern Florida, who came from the Bahamas used to tell me she always knew what mood I was in by the color I had on that day—-and I have been in touch with that since then.

Thank you for your email. I’m wearing mostly gray today, although I do have on bright yellow slippers which are cheerful. I’m getting over a cold and am basically in hiding hanging out at home.

Hi, I’m writing from Folsom county prison. They make us wear orange everyday, but my mood is much more yellow.
