Is Weight Loss Your New Year's Resolution? I sure don't envy anyone who is facing the struggle to lose weight in the coming year. I've been there and know it can be a tough road to travel. But it can be done, I encourage everyone to take heart.

On New Year's Day I reviewed my South Beach Diet Diary entries that I bravely published online last year. Reviewing my day-to-day ups and downs helped me realize that goals are achievable. I'm also very proud to say that I've managed to maintain my losses these past months. Urr... well, I'll confess that the last 3 pounds I lost during the final week when I was posting my weight losses still like to appear and disappear. Thank goodness for them, they serve as a reminder for me not to over eat and to continue implementing a healthy diet and fitness plan. However, I refuse to stress over 3 measly pounds, I've allowed my mind and body to relax into a comfortable zone.
