Spirit Protectors

Have you had any close calls where you really should have been killed or seriously hurt but mirculously weren't? I've had quite a few. I'm just curious what experiences everyone has had. One that sticks in my mind, I was stopped at a light at the top of a hill. The light turned green and as I put my foot on the accelerator, my car just stayed there. I was in gear, my foot was off the brake, and I was definately pressing on the gas and I wasn't going anywhere. Just then, a semi truck ran it's red light and roared right past the nose of my car. Had I actually driven into the intersection I would surely have been killed.
